PUNCH IT DOWN AND IT WILL RISE AGAIN – Spirituality of Bread Making
In our world of microwaves and ready baked foods, many of us have lost the ability to make our own food from beginning to end. The art of bread making is one of the things that we have lost.
Come and join us on Saturday, March 16 for a morning of discovery.
Learn to make your own bread and how making bread can become part of your own spiritual practice. You will learn to make bread, we’ll eat lunch together and you will be able to take bread home to share with your family and friends.
Bethany Osborne, who has been making bread for over 30 years, will be our guide. She loves to teach others how to make bread and is looking forward to introducing all of us to the Spirituality of Bread Making.
Join us 9:30 am – 1:00 pm Scarboro Missions (2685 Kingston Road).
Points of which you need to be aware:
– Wear comfortable clothes
– Children are most welcome to join in
Everyone is welcome Bring a friend
If you will join us, contact the Becoming Neighbours office at 416-267-4817 or email@example.com by noon – Wednesday, March 13:
Looking forward to sharing bread with you.
